AFBN/SLE – Bringing the Joy of Sports Back to Our School Programs!
AFBN is proud to introduce the After School Study Hall for identified student-athletes across all participating schools. As the name suggests, Study Hall provides student-athletes with dedicated time to refocus on their academics. During this time, they will have the opportunity to work on homework, receive tutoring, and prepare for the next school day.
Identified athletes will receive after-school support with homework and study skills from advanced students and teachers, helping them build the essential academic skills required for classroom success. This will be a paid program, offering a unique opportunity for tutors to be considered for college scholarships as well.
At Athletes for Better Nations Sierra Leone, we are bringing back the concept of service and reinforcing the belief that giving is the first step in the receiving process. We are committed to supporting dedicated tutors with high academic standards to secure scholarships both locally and internationally. We are one family—a progressive Sierra Leonean family.
We must work together to re-establish a spirited, vibrant, and purposeful Physical Education program in all our schools, from infant to primary and inter-secondary school sports.

AFBN will institute After School Study Hall for identified student athletes at all identified schools. Study hall as per its name is exactly what is sounds like, a time for student-athletes to shift their focus back on their academics. It is during this time that the student-athletes can work on homework, receive tutoring and get ready for the following school day.

Identified athletes will be provided after-school help with homework and study skill by advanced students and teachers to build the required study skills for classroom success. This will be a paid program that with a symbiotic gift of placing the tutors in line for college scholarships as well. We are Athletes for Better Nation Sierra Leone. Bringing back the concept of service and the belief that giving is the beginning of the receiving process. At Athlete for Better Nations SLE, we will support committed tutors of high academic standards to secure academic scholarships to programs at home and abroad. We are one family, a progressive Sierra Leonean family.
We must re-establish the spirited, vibrant and true to purpose Physical Educational program in all our schools. Going back to "All infant, all primary and Inter-secondary school sports".
