Antonio Rudiger

Antonio was born in Berlin to an Afro-German father, Matthias, and a Sierra Leonean mother, Lily. He grew up in the Berlin neighborhood of Neukölln. He has come through the ranks of several clubs, including Stuttgart, Roma and Chelsea. However, it was during his time at AS Roma, between 2015 and 2017, that Rüdiger really began to rise to the forefront. His solid performance in defense and his ability to anticipate the opponent’s movements allowed him to stand out and become a pillar for the Italian club.
