Recent Highlights About Sierra Sandy
Sierra showcased her remarkable talent at the All-African Games in Accra, representing Sierra Leone with pride. As a promising young tennis athlete, she excelled in both the singles and doubles matches. Although faced a narrow defeat in the doubles against Kenya's Angela and Cinth, her determination and skills came through, especially with the challenging doubles champion Angels Okutoyi. Her overall performance from 2021 to 2024 at Florida A&M, Sierra achieved significant milestones by winning 9 singles matches and 21 doubles matches, earning the team a spot on the SWAC All-Tournament Team, and contributing to A&M's first SWAC title and NCAA Regional appearance in 2023. Sierra continues to perform finishing up her Senior year at Georgia State University.
